Madilyn's 1st School Picture!!

Madilyn had school pics a few weeks ago. I picked out something cute but it didn't look right, so Madi picked out her outfit. She did a pretty good job!! I was worried it would come out bad, or she would be all sweaty from recess, or she would have her lunch all over her shirt. I was giving her last minute instructions like, put your hair over your shoulders and remember to pull your shirt down. I don't know what I was worried about, after all this is Madilyn we are talking about. They came out great!! So, without further ado, Madilyn Rose Binger's Kindergarten Picture.

Sucker Fish Part II

Madi this evening: "Oh he grew a lot while he was sleeping. He's massive!!"

Mommy: (looking over Madi's head and giving Daddy the eye. For the love!! The thing is literally twice the size, not even close) "Yeah baby, he got really big didn't he."

Daddy: "He ate all the garbage in the tank and got massive!!"

(Billy also bought Madi 3 other fish and some tank decorations)

Madi: "He sure did, wow he got really big. What are these green fish doing here?, and look there is Sandy(from Sponge Bob, a tank decoration). Thanks Dad you are the best Daddy ever. You are awesome, you are amazing!! Give me a hug and kiss!"

Sucker Fish

Madi this morning: "Mommy, Mommy!! Oh my sucker fish!! He's dead, he's dead!!" (as she is pounding on the glass of the tank and crying)

Mommy: (Frowning as I see that the sucker fish is not moving or sucking) "No Madi, it's ok. He's sleeping. Fish have to sleep too."

Madi: "Oh, ok. I see his eyes closed, Shhhhh!"

Mommy: (Furiously texting Daddy to go to Walmart after work and get a new sucker fish to swap out before we get home from gymnastics)

Daddy: You got it!

Mommy: Whew!!

2nd and 3rd Days of School !!!

Here is Madi on day 2 and 3. She is liking school, though today she was a little tearful and wanted me to walk her to her class. She is making friends and learning a lot. Yesterday was a little rough. We had gymnastics from 4 to 5 and she was pretty tired. Monday will be interesting because she has Mini Flips (her gymnastics and dance performing team) from 4-6. This week was nice with only 3 days of school and I was off during the week, but next week is gonna be different. It looks like less sleep on my end!! What's new. Have to be up by about 2pm to get ready dressed etc.. and pick her up from school and pickup Bella. I am going to try to work a lot of weekends. It will make it easier on me for school drop off, pickup, gymnastics, and getting lunches, dinner, baths, etc!!!!

 Day #2. This is Madi's pick for the first day of school

 This was my pick for the first day of school. I was bummed because    she had Hello Kitty flats to match but they were a little big and kept slipping off. We will have to wait a few months or wear with socks when it cools off. Anyway she is doing great, we are so proud of her!!!

Awww, Sissies!!

What a big day!! I think we all were nervous. Madi did great. She got a little teary when we pulled up and she saw all the kids, but it didn't last (she saw the playground). I held it together until we left, then I looked at Billy and started crying. Man I miss her during the day, though Bella has been a blast. We found out at meet the teacher night that they had PE on the 1st day. Man that threw a wrench in my plan. I had spent a considerable amount of time (and money) on her outfit. You know me!! Anyway, it did not include tennis shoes!! I had to come up with a new plan last minute. She wore her new sketcher light up shoes (Thanks Grandma!!) and some Hello Kitty, of course. She didn't really talk about the day other than to say they found a worm at recess and she didn't "bemember" the rest. Then, she passed out on the couch. I should have gotten a pic of that! We love our big girl!!!

Our Last Day of Summer

Right after this picture, I started crying. Madi hugged me and said, "Don't cry Mom, it will be okay." She was so sweet it made me cry more. I am going to miss her during the day!!!

Tuesday, August 9th. That was the last day of life as I knew it. Our last day of summer. Madi started Kindergarten the next day. I asked her what she wanted to do and she wanted to go to Sea Life Aquarium. We had a lot of fun, I had never been. I tried to make it last as long as I could. I didn't want to leave the mall, and I was on the verge of tears all day. I know I am being dramatic, but it is a lot of change. Before you know it, she will be too embarrassed to be seen in public with me!! I don't want it to sound all bad though. I am looking forward to some quality time with just Bella. She is getting so big and talking so much and learning new things everyday!! The cutest thing she says now is "I don't like your attitude, Missy" it is hilarious. Also, now she can get out of her crib, so we took the rail down and made it a toddler bed. I am so happy to see her bright smiling face every morning at 6am saying "Hi Mom"!!! Anyways, I digress. Our Last Days of Kids Club

Kids Club!! This is something I have really enjoyed doing with the girls since before Madi was 2. It has been really fun. We go see the show, eat lunch, ride the merry-go-round, and play on the playground. Well, we had our last day a few weeks ago. I will still take Bella, of course, but Madi will start Kindergarten, so it won't be the same. It will be way easier!! LOL :) JK. Anyway, I got pretty choked up!! here are some pics. (Well, I will get to take her again dring summer and breaks, but she is a little old now, she gets bored. So, it really was like our last day ever. It won't be the same again. I don't like all this change at once!!) Though, I feel bad about saying all of these things. I do look forward to time with Bella. She is starting to like Kids Club now and asks to go see Dewper. She is starting to dance a lot during the show, and be excited when we pull up. I love it. Just new things to look forward to, I guess.

4th of July!

We went to visit my Mom for the 4th. My Dad went to Uganda, with his church, for about 3 weeks. We went and had a girls weekend. My cousin came from Cali for the weekend too. I got to meet my neice?? no second cousin, Lilah, for the 1st time. She is so cute. My Mom spoiled us and bought Madi a ton of clothes and supplies for school. We had a good time, Thanks MOM!!!!
