Alyssa's Wedding!!

Alyssa got married over spring beak and she was beautiful!! The girls were adorable as the flower girls. I didn't take a ton of pics (I'm hoping to get more from Alyssa soon). Bella was a little cranky before so I didn't get a pic of them together either. Oh well. Also, I am awesome!! I thought I got the whole ceremony on video but when I went to watch it there was only the beginning and end and random shots of people's feet. Genius here was recording when I thought it was on pause and on pause for the whole ceremony when I thought I was recording. I had the camera up and everything, Man I could have at least enjoyed it had I realized it was on pause. That's what I get for taking vodka shots with the bridal party right before hehehe...

Rehearsal Dinner!!

I'm playing a little bit of catch up here. My birthday was on March 9th. We went out for dinner and had Mexican. There was a balloon man there and he made me that hideous hat!! The girls thought it was hilarious. We went home for cake and my gift was $$ which I later used to buy cool stuff!

Bella's 1st haircut! I waited because I was afraid  if I cut her curls they wouldn't  grow back. This happened in March. She is almost 3 at this point!!

Merry Christmas

 

 

 

I know it is June, but this is the only thing I did not post from last year and wanted to get to it! We had a great Xmas. I worked Christmas night so we were going to just stay home, but at the last minute decided to surprise everyone in Havasu. I got off work, packed all the presents everyone had sent (sorry about the shipping guys) and off we went. I was delerious by the time we got there, but it was worth it to see the surprise and joy on everyone's faces. We stayed for Christmas Eve and Christmas Morning, then high tailed it back so I could go to work. We had our own little family Xmas when I got off work on the 26th.

Oh how I love that word, in any form. Mom, Mommy, Mama, Mamasita. It is the best. To hear those little voices call out for me, to need me. This is the most precious gift I have ever been given. Don't get me wrong, motherhood is many things, happy, sad, frustrating, overwhelming, beautiful, ugly, amazing, rewarding, just to name a few. Most of all, it is a gift. I am so grateful to have two happy, healthy, beautiful children. Even though I spend a lot of time worrying about their health and safety, and if I am screwing them up and so on and so forth I am mostly so happy I get to be their Mom. To wake up every day and hold chubby hands, wipe faces and noses, hear them call for me, hear them laugh and play, get kisses and hugs, get them dressed, make them breakfast, watch them learn and grow, read to them, sing to them, and put them to bed again, I am so blessed. So, even in all my sleep deprived glory, I can't wait to get up and be   Mommy.

Happy Mothers Day Mom. I love you. I'm so happy you are my Mom!! I wish we lived closer so we could hang out more. I love when you come visit and hang with me and the girls just doing the day to day stuff. Of course I also love when you get up with them in the morning so I can sleep in :)  . The girls love "Grandma" so much and miss you and talk about you all the time. Madi is always asking, "Grandma is your Mom?" They always want to send you their drawings in the mail! You are there for me when I need to call for advice, a recipe, or to vent! Love ya and hope your day was great, you deserve it!!

Also Happy Mothers Day to my Grandma, my Sister and my Aunt. Love you and so do the girls!! Hope you guys had a great day!!
