We had a few activities going on before Easter this year. We went to kids club, of course, and the girls were all dressed in their ensamble. They were so cute. The Thursday before Easter we went to an Easter Egg Hunt at a friends preschool. That was a lot of fun. Bella had no idea what to do at first, but she caught on. At one point, Madi came to me all mad that her basket was full and the eggs kept falling out ! :) My friend from work, Tracy was there too. It was weird to see here there, but I guess we know the same people. Madi met Lauryn, her new baby, and has been talking about her ever since. I wish I had a pic of them, but I was unorganized (what a surprise) and these pics are from my phone. Enjoy.
Madi was irritated with me bugging her to take a picture.
Madi and her wonderful smile!!
I tried so many times to get Bella to look, all she wanted was to play and eat snacks!
It wouldn't be Kids Club without a ride on the carousel! Madi loves the spinning teacup. Two seconds later Bella wanted off and rode a horse. Madi was upset that she was on alone, but I spun her fast and she got over it.
Look at those baby blues!!!
Madi Moo
This is from the Egg Hunt at Morning Star Academy. Look at all of those eggs.
Bella got quite a few too.
Attempting to get a pic of them together.
Bella playing in the sand.
This was funny. Bella would grab an egg and open it, then Owen would crack up. He is a friend of ours from my Mom's group, and you can't really tell here but he had a chocolate moustache!!
Man that dang candy! Madi was looking & smiling 2 seconds before this. I finally got Bella to look up (on like the 4th attempt) and Madi looked down to open candy. Oh well.
This is Madi, of course. She had an open house at her new school a few weeks ago. Can you believe she is going to be in Kindergarten!! She is such a smart girl. She was so excited. We met teachers, did a coloring project, and most importantly, got to check out the playground.
Just a little update on the girls. Madi will be 5 next month. Our girl is growing up so fast. She can write her name now. I'm sure most of you have discovered this if you have gotten a picture she has colored! She is learning her letters and numbers. She is very curious and inquisitive. She is always asking me what words start with, or how they are spelled. She loves to color and read books. She is still the same old Madi, full of energy and so chatty. She will go up to people all the time (with me right there of course) and say, "Oh I love your dress" or compliment their hair, necklace, etc. She always puts a smile on people's faces.
Bella will be 2 in June, as well. She is getting so big. She still has those blue eyes. Also, she has a chunk of hair missing on the left side, courtesy of Madi and a pair of scissors :( That is why she wears piggy tails a lot. I don't want to cut off those pretty curls! Anyway, she is learning so much too. She loves books and wants us to read to her any chance she gets. She is talking so much now. Her favorite phrase is, "I do it!" She wants to do everything herself from getting dressed, to brushing her teeth, to getting in the car. She repeats most things now too, so have to be careful. Some other words are "Sissy", "No", "I love you", "Daddy", she says "Mom, mom, mom" alot, and she has yelling and hitting her sissy down pretty good. It doesn't help that Madi pushes her buttons sometimes. They do get along well and play good together most of the time, though.
More to come soon, thanks for checking in on our little family. We would love to hear from you, leave your comments below.
